Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North Ameer and member of central executive council Mohammad Selim Uddin’s mother Marium Begum dies at Ibn Sina Hospital, Dhanmondi of the capital at 4pm today (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun). She was at 95. She was suffering from various physical complications including old age for a long time. She left 4 sons and 2 daughters and many relatives and well-wishers during her death.
Her 1st Namaj-e-Janaja will be held at Dhanmondi Eidgah Mosque after Esha Prayer. Then her body will be taken at Austcody village of Bianibazar upzilla of Maulivibazar district. After the second Namaj-e-Janaja, she will be buried at her family graveyard.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North Nayeeb-e-Ameer and member of central working committee Abdur Rahman Musa and secretary Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim expressed a deep condolence for the death of Marium Begum, Mother of Jamaat Dhaka City North Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin.
Marium Begum was a pious woman. She was engaged in prayers to Allah (SW) till the last day of her life. We lost a Ratmagarbha in her death. She was the mother of Mohammad Selim Uddin, a frontline leader of Islamic movement – Ameer of Jamaat Dhaka City North – and member of central executive council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. Both leaders prayed to Allah so that may Allah grant her Heaven (the highest Janna). They also conveyed sympathy to her family members. They also urged the countrymen to pray and to forgive for the soul of the deceased and wished the relatives to be patient.
