Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North Ameer and member of central executive council Mohammad Selim Uddin said, “The foundation of our nationhood has been weakened and tarnished by the brutal murder on 28 October.”
He today said these as the president while speaking at a discussion meeting and Doa Mahfil in an auditorium in the capital in remembrance of the martyrs on 28 October. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North arranged this as part of the central program. Jamaat Dhaka City North secretary and member of central working committee Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim conducted it. Jamaat Dhaka City North Nayeeb-e-Ameer and member of central working committee Abdur Rahman Musa was the special guest. Lashkar Muhammad Taslim, assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North and member of central Mojlish-e-Shura, Nazim Uddin Mollah and others were also present in the program.
“The hellish massacre of 28 October is not an isolated incident but a part of conspiracy against Islam, Islamic values and nationhood. They killed Jamaat-Shibir men at broad daylight. This is one of the blackest days in the history of Bangladesh. Though the ruling party talk about the crimes against humanity, they have committed crimes against humanity more. One day they have to face trial,” he added.
City Ameer remembers the martyrs of 28 October and prays to Allah to grant them Jannat. He also conveys deep sympathy to the members of the martyred family.
“All Muslims expect Martyrdom. And say not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah, “They are dead.” Nay, they are living, but you perceive (it) not. Entering Jannat, no one wishes to come back to the earth but the martyrs are different. The martyrs will wish to return to the earth and will wish to die to the path of Allah again and again. The person who does not wish to die to the path of Allah is not a perfect believer. The activists of Islamic movement have to wish the spirit of martyrdom. They have to play an important role to establish a hunger and poverty free country. As the murderers of October 28 were not prosecuted, various crimes including disappearances, murders, rapes, terrorism, violence against women have increased uncontrollably in the country. Overthrowing this anti-people, oppressed and vote rigging government from power, mass people government will be established and the murderers of October 28 will be persecuted,” he also added.
He urged all respective all parties and ideologies to come to the street to establish mass people government.
“This anti-people and fascist government are unable to govern the country. In the recent past, they talked about the overflow of development in the country, but now they are trying unsuccessfully to cover up their misdeeds by telling people about famine. Even though rental and quick rental projects have been taken up with the guarantee of the supply of 100% electricity for everyone, the situation has not improved, instead the corruptors of the government party have stolen thousands of crores of taka from these projects and laundered them abroad. But load shedding is occurring in the country. Prime Minister is ridiculing with people to use Prodip. This government is not a democratic government. So they have no accountabilities to people. So a pro-people government should be established emancipate the nation from this fascist government,” he further added.
“The ruling party is not a public supporter based party. Their popularity is often zero now. They are taking various conspiracies to prologue their power. They are using the constitution to ignore the people’s demand for a caretaker government during elections. But the government of night votes will not be given any opportunity of rigging votes rather, the mass demand of caretaker government should be established and pro-people government will be elected In-Sha-Allah,” he again added.
He urged all to take part in the mass movement to establish the voting rights of people.
