Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North Ameer and member of central executive council Mohammad Selim said, “We are from Allah (SW) and we have to return to Him. We have to use time properly. This world is not a place of enjoyment. We have to spend time in prayer and in welfare activities. Allah (SW) says, ‘You (true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind’. Bangladesh Jamaat-e- Islami Dhaka City North has taken some measures by following this verse. Among them, it is mentionable that Jamaat will assist the poor so that they can be self-reliant.”
When a man is in danger, if someone stands by him with help, it becomes much easier for him to overcome the danger. But today our society has gone to such a stage that people laugh at the danger of others and most of the people do not help the endangered. According to Islam, endangered people must be assisted. Islam orders Muslims to help the poor and helpless people. Their wealth is not theirs alone; the poor also have a right to it. Islam has also ordered the state to assist the poor and endangered people. But the present government is so much away from this. If the government collected jakat, the poverty would be elevated. For this, the country needs an Islamic government. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has been working for this. People are chanting slogan ‘Jamaat-e-Islami government is needed in the coming days’ Jamaat wants to build up a corruption-free, transparent and accountable administration and governance system with the help of the people of Bangladesh,” he added. He urged all to assist Jamaat.

“Allah (SW) has blessed Bangladesh with invaluable resources. The biggest asset of this country is her population. A large section of her population is young and active. If the youth of this country could be utilized properly, if the education system of this country could be made functional, then today people would not have to reach out to anyone. The soil of our country is very fertile. Very few countries in the world have such fertile soil. Still, countless people of this country are living a life of starvation and half-starvation. One of the reasons for this state of affairs is that those who have been in power in this country have a very weak feeling that they will be accountable to Almighty Allah in the Hereafter. Moreover, there is no presence of moral education in the education system of the country. What was left was almost destroyed. As a result, the people of this country have become victims of corruption, mismanagement and nepotism,” he further added.
“There are many MPs and ministers whose children study abroad. As a result, they have no importance to the education system of this country. A pro-people government is needed in the future. Jamaat is determined to establish a welfare state in this country. So, it is our moral responsibility to deliver the call of Jamaat-e-Islami to every house. I invite everyone to participate in this movement,” he also added.
