Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North Ameer and member of central executive council Mohammad Selim Uddin said, “An undemocratic, autocratic and BaKSAl’s force is ruling the nation and the state now. In this situation, this undemocratic government must be ousted to bring democracy, good governance and discipline back. Otherwise, the country cannot be emancipated from the shackles of fascist rules. The members of the organization have to play an important role in the future to emancipate the deprived people of the country. They have to play a strong role to build up an extreme form of movement in systematic and democratic way.”
He said these as the chief guest while addressing at a half yearly members’ meeting of Uttara Model Thana. Uttara Model thana of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North arranged the program. Thana Ameer Meshba Uddin Nayeem presided over the program. Thana secretary Harun-ur-Rashid conducted it. Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim, secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North and member of central working committee, was the special guest. Thana Nayeeb-e-Ameer Mr. AKM Nur, thana working committee member Md. Ishakh, Bodiuzzaman Bokul, Atiar Rahman Atique, Osman Goni Juel and others were also present in the program.
“Every member will make himself as a social worker. Self-formation is also important for him/her. Jamaat-e-Islami’s call and social service work should be done with the religious feelings. All activists should bear the slogan ‘The activists of Jamaat mean the social workers’. Jamaat activists will assist the poor and endangered first.”
He urged the members to spread the invitation and services of the Jamaat to people without any interruption and fear, relying on Almighty Allah.
