Among them, the martyrdom of Imam Hossain (RA), the beloved grandson of Prophet Muhammad (saw), in the desert of Karbala in 10 Muharram of 61 Hijri is the saddest event. We have to be steadfast to the path of truth and justice in any adverse situation inspired by the teachings of Ashura.”
He urged all to be united to establish a hunger and poverty free country based on justice inspired by the teachings of Ashura.
He today said these as the president while speaking at the discussion meeting and prayer program titled by ‘The Teachings and Significance of The Holy Ashura’. “The day of Ashura is eventful and significant from different points of views. The creation of Adam (as) as the representative of the world, his placement in Paradise, his sending to earth and acceptance of repentance all are taken place on the date of Ashura. It was the day when Hazrat Abraham (as) was born, rewarded the title Khalilullah, and saved the fire of Namrud. It was the day when Hazrat Yousuf (as) was met with His father Hazrat Yeakub (as) after 40 years. Hazrat Ayyub (as) was cured of leprosy of the day of Ashura. Hazrat Yunus (as) was released on the same day after staying in the belly of fish for 40 days. Allah released Hazrat Muses (as) and His companions from the tyranny of Fharaon. Allah killed Fharaon and his companions by drowning into the sea on this day. Hazrat Muses (as) talked with Allah (SW) on the Mount Tur on this day. Hazrat Jesus (as) was born in this day. When the Jews made conspiracies to kill Hazrat Jesus (as), Allah saved Him (Isa) by angles. Basically, the day of Ashura has a deep connection with this eath. Allah (SW) has created the world, hills, mountains, pen, angles on the day of Ashura. So, the day is very prestigious for many aspects,” he added.
The spirit of Ashura is the spirit of establishment a society based on justice. Hazrat Hossain (RA) was martyred on this day.
Then the City Ameer mentioned the word of the crisis of the nation and the state.
He said, “An undemocratic, autocratic, BaKSAl’s force is ruling the nation and the state now. They have gifted the nation misrule instead of good governance. The government has created a deadlock by increasing fuel price. As a result, mass miseries are up now. This undemocratic government should be ousted to bring democracy, good governance and discipline back.”
He urged all to be united regardless party, race, caste and ideology to oust this fascist government. Otherwise, the country and the nation cannot be freed from the rule of this fascist force.
