Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, “Sacrifice is not just a ritual like animal slayer rather, it is a ritual of acquiring fear of Allah through slaying beasthood of human being.”
Allah says, “Say (O Muhammad SAW): Verily, my Salat (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the Alameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists).”
The goal of animal sacrifice is to gain the success of this time and Hereafter by reflecting the teachings of it in real life.
He urged all to become united to establish a society of peace by being encouraged by the teachings of Eid-al-Adha.
He today said these as the chief guest while addressing at an Eid reunion program. He was virtually joined the program. Kafrul-Mirpur zone of Jamaat Dhaka City North arranged the program. Lashkar Mohammad Taslim, zone director and member of central Mojlish-e-Shura, presided over the program. Jamaat Dhaka City North Ameer and member of central executive council Mohammad Selim Uddin and Abdur Rahman Musa, member of central working committee and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North, delivered their speech as special guests. Muhammad Shahidullah, member of Mojlish-e-Shura of Jamaat Dhaka City North, principal Anwarul Karim, Abdul Matin Khan, Alauddin, Tarek Reza and others were also present in the program.
“Jamaat started its mission 81 years ago with only 75 members with a promise of change. Its vision was to make the flow of light against the flow of darkness. Jamaat has been able to build up a strong foundation in 8 countries of this region including Bangladesh though many ridiculed their beginning. This movement is moving forward all over the world at an unstoppable speed. Now it has become a gigantic tree. It will bloom now and we will get fruits one day In-Sha-Allah. But the selfish group of rulers has stood against it. They want to turn off the spirit of this movement within a moment. But this devilish power will never succeed,” he added.
He urged all to use best efforts in order to win Islam victorious by ignoring all limitations and obstacles.
“Jamaat is a systematic and idealist organization. We are working tirelessly to make the country into a country of human dignity based on justice. This is why the brutal and cruel torture of history has been run on us. A heinous persecution has been run on children, women and aged people. Torture, persecution and jail are our daily companions now. Our top leaders have been hung unfairly. Many activists and leaders have been killed extra-judicially. Many have been paralyzed. We do not care these. We are uncompromising. We will be uncompromising till the establishment of Islam In-Sha-Allah,” he also added.
“The nation is suffering the misrule of illegal government. We have to dethrone this fascist government through sacrifice. We are fully committed to making this movement victorious. We want to build up a successful movement with people against this undemocratic force. Our movement will be systematic but uncompromising,” he further added.
He urged all to take the preparation to take part in the upcoming movement for emancipation of the nation and the country.
Selim Uddin said as special guest, “Our motherland is a unique beautiful country. This country is a land of natural beauty. It is full of variations. People of this country are pious and most of them believe Islamic ideal. But after independence, the country has been governed by imported ideals. Common people are now being deprived of rights due to avarice of power of a family. Though the poor are being more poor due to misrule, a special group is being more rich. Jamaat-e-Islami has been working to bring the country from this negative circle.”
“The government is spreading propaganda saying that the country is being developed like Singapore but it is facing more crises. There is scarcity of gas, electricity and food in the country now. A femine is about to occur. Basically, the country has been turned into a bankrupt state. If we want to rescue the country from this crisis, there is no alternative but turning the county into a welfare state based on the ideals of The Quran and Sunna,” he again added.
He urged all to become united in the one point movement of caretaker government.
