Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North Ameer and member of central executive council Mohammad Selim Uddin said, “A huge part of the total population of our country is unemployed and poor. This number is increasing day by day. If we want to make our dear homeland self-reliant and prosperous, this huge number of population should be turned into human resource. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has been working to create the field of employment for the underprivileged people since its establishment. Our activities will be being continued for the poor and unemployed people in future In-Sha-Allah.”
He urged all to remain united under the banner of Jamaat to build up a poverty, unemployment and hunger free Sonar Bangladesh based on justice.
He today said these as the chief guest while distributing hand cashes and sewing machines among the underprivileged people at a local auditorium of Hatirjeel of the capital. Hatirjeel organizational thana of Jamaat Dhaka City North arranged the program with a view to creating self-employment under the project of Korje Hsana.
Advocate Sheikh Muhammad Zillur Rahman, thana Ameer and member of Mojlish-e-Shura of Jamaat Dhaka City North, presided over the program. Thana secretary Khandakar Ruhul Ameen conducted it. Thana finance secretary Maulana Abu Sadi, Younus Alam Siddiki, member of thana Mojlish-e-Shura, thana Shibir president Mazharul Islam Nadim and others were also present in the program.
