Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North Ameer and member of central executive council Mohammad Selim Uddin said, “The Members (rokon) of Jamaat have to study The Holy Quran, Hadith and Islamic literature regularly. One should lead one’s life in the light of The Holy Quran. Not only will we study The Holy Quran but also research. We have to try to perform five times Salat (prayer) in a day by going to mosque.”
He today said these as the chief guest while addressing at the half yearly member (rokon) meeting in Mirpur. Mirpur west organizational thana of Jamaat Dhaka City North arranged the program. Abdul Hakim Buyan, thana Ameer and member of Mojlish-e-Shura of Jamaat Dhaka City North, presided over the program. Thana secretary conducted it. Nazim UddinMollah, assistant secretary of Jamat Dhaka City North, was the special guest.
“Every member (rokon) should prepare himself like a social worker. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s dawa and social service work should be reached door to door with the religious feelings. The activist of Jamaat means the social worker and the social worker means the activist of Jamaat. This will be the slogan of Jamaat activists,”
City Ameer gave the example of central Ameer. He mentioned that Central Ameer had assisted the flood victims and fire victims in different parts of the country. He urged all to run a campaign of ambulance service, free blood donation service, free medical service and repairing of different household materials led by City Jamaat. He also called on the manpower to take different courses to be skilled.
Selim Uddin urged the Jamaat activists to reach the invitation of Jamaat door to door. Nazim Udddin Mollah also gave the same message.
