Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North Ameer and member of central executive council Mohammad Selim Uddin said, “Those who had governed our homeland last fifty years, provided nothing but corruption, looting, oppression, persecution and bad culture. As a result, the country has been turned into a greater prison. If we want to change the culture of the country and the nation, we have to build up a new humane Bangladesh under the leadership of honest, competent, brave, meritorious people based on Islamic ideal.”
He urged all to come forward to join the movement to build up a happy, prosperous and hunger-poverty free country. He today said these as the chief guest while addressing at the workers’ training camp of Moulvibazar district. Barlekha and Juri upazila of Jamaat Moulvibazar district arranged the program. Emdadul Haque, Ameer of Barlekha uaazila, and Hafeez Nazmul Islam, Ameer of Juri upazilla, presided over the program. Maulana Abdul Mannan, Imam of New Jersey Mosque of USA, and Maulana Abdur Rahman, Nayeeb-e-Ameer of Jamaat Moulvibazar district, delivered their speech in the program. Abdul Hai Helal, Nayeeb-e-Ameer of Juri upazilla, Faisal Ahammed, secretary of Barlekha upazila, Mohammad Azim, secretary of Juri upazila, and others were also present in the program.
“Allah (SW) has sent mankind to the earth to attain Heaven by following His guidance. We have to gain some qualities to this path. One of them our faith will be firmed. Our faith will be polytheism free. We have to earn halal livelihood. Patience is one of the best virtues of a believer. Salat (prayer), fasting and other good deeds must be performed properly. The Quran and Hadith must be studied for our self-formation,” he added.
“We have to invite people to the path of welfare, to the path of truth. If we all invite people to the path of righteousness; and if we stick to this path, our life in this world will be beautiful. Abandoned, anti-Islamic, ignorant and hypocrite groups will not be able to emerge. We do not follow Islam properly; we fear the anti-Islamists; we fear evils. But a Muslim will not fear any hypocrite groups; he will fear only Allah,” he also added.
“Do not fear the hypocrite group. No one can take your life away. Has this hypocrite group taken the lives of Maulana Faizur Rahman and Sadikur Rahman away? If Allah (SW) wants your death, no one will be to stop. No one will be able to kill you. Only Allah takes our lives away. We have to fear only Allah,” he further added.
Selim Uddin quoted the verse of Surat At Tauba from The Holy Quran. Allah (SW) says, “Verily, Allah has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties; for the price that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allahs Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and the Quran. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success.”
“We have been sent to this earth for a short time. This life is very short in comparison to Hereafter. We have to think about hereafter, he again added.
He urged all to prefer to Hereafter to this life. City Ameer went to Ankar Mia (late) and Sadikur Rahamn’s (late) house of sadar upazila of Moulvibazar district and looked after their family members.
