Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North Ameer and member of central executive council Mohammad Selim Uddin said, “Jamaat-e-Islami is always uncompromising to establish an Islamic welfare state based on justice. We will continue our efforts In-Sha-Allah till we reach our goal.” He urged the present members (rokon) to engage in public opinion formation in order to strengthen the movement to turn the country into a welfare state.
He today said these as the chief guest while addressing the half- yearly member (rokon) conference arranged by Hatirjeel west thana of Jamaat Dhaka City North. He virtually connected to the conference.
Ataur Rahman Sarkar, thana Ameer and member of Mojlish-e-Shura of Jamaat Dhaka City North, presided over the conference. Thana Secretary Yousuf Ali Molla conducted it. Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim, secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North and member of central working committee, was the special guest. Hemayet Hossain, member of central Mojlish-e-Shura, Dr. Habibur Rahman, president of ulema department, also delivered their speech. Abu Tanzil, member of thana working committee, Kalimullah, Golam Maula, Akter Hossain, Abu Sayeed Mondol, Rashedul Islam, Abdus Sattar, Habibur Rahman Mojumdar, Sayesta Khan and others were also present in the conference.
“Man is the greatest creation of Allah. They will be asked for their activities. Besides, they will be asked for their neighbors. So, the activists of Islamic movement have to look after the neighbors. They have to try their best to solve their problems. Only then can we be accountable to the court of Allah,” he added.
“All Prophets had played a historic role for ages in field of Daawa. And that responsibility is now on us. The activists of all levels of organization have to play an effective and historic role in the field in order to fulfill the demand of faith. Only then will our victory be mandatory,” he also added.
He urged the activists of Islamic movement to work according to their abilities in order to win Islam as victorious.
“The government has destroyed democracy and democratic values from the country. They came to power through repeated frauds and conspiracies and could not give the people anything but misrule. The government wants to come to power in the future through the so-called elections in the same manner but their dream will never come true,” he further added.
He urged the government to check public opinion by holding a free, fair and acceptable election under a caretaker government immediately.
“Otherwise, people will establish their rights by an extreme form of movement,” he warned.
The report of January-June of current year was presented and reviewed. The immediate unconditional release of Nayeeb-e-Ameer Allama Delware Hossain Saydee, secretary general Mial Golam Porwar, assistant secretary general ATM Azharul Islam and other political leaders and alem-ulemas has been demanded in the conference.
