Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive member and Dhaka City North Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin said, “Jamaat is a humanist ideological organization. Jamaat works with all its efforts to protect the independence and sovereignty when people of the country face troubles and disasters. It has again been proved through the humanist activities of Jamaat during recent flood. Jamaat with its leaders and activists of all levels assists the flood victims. They assist not only the flood victims of Sylhet and Sunamganj but also the flood affected people of all over the country. Jamaat works only for the satisfaction of Allah. They want to establish a justice based society. They work for the welfare of mankind. The first priority of a justice based society is when one brother falls in danger, the other comes forward to help. As an oppressed organization, Jamaat, ignoring all oppressions, is determined to work for the sake of humanity. So. The activists of Islamic movement will be determined to be humanists and ideological persons. The leaders and activists of Jamaat have to work shoulder to shoulder with the people of all walks of life to establish a justice based society. We will not stop our journey until we will be able to establish a society governed by the Holy Quran.”
He today Friday said these as the chief guest while addressing at the advanced workers’ training camp. Bashundhara thana of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North arranged the program. Harun-al-Rashid, thana Ameer and member of Mojlish-e-Shura of Jamaat Dhaka City North presided over the program. Thana secretary Al-Ameen Mehdi conducted the program. Nazim Uddin Mollah, member of central Mojlish-e-Shura and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North, Abul Bashar, thana Nayeeb-e-Ameer and others were also present in the program.
The state power is not the final success of Islamic movement, rather the satisfaction of Allah is the final success. The activists of Islamic movement have to try heart and soul for gaining satisfaction of Allah,” he also added.
He pointed out the actual scenario of the country and said that the government has killed our top leaders in a planned way to make the country leaderless and incompetent. Even in today’s catastrophic moment, the government is oppressing the activists of opposition parties, they do not assist the common people. Basically, the government without votes do not feel accountable to people. An extreme form of movement should be started against this autocratic government for the establishment of voting rights, caretaker government and free and fair election.
