Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North Ameer Mohammad Uddin and member of central executive council said, “Jamaat is not a power-centered, high ambitious and conventional political organization rather it has been working tirelessly for the welfare of humanity since its establishment. At the same time, we are committed to establish a justice based society and to build up a prosperous nation. There is no alternative but expanding Da’wah in order to take the state and the nation forward.”
He urged all to build up a steel-like-unity to turn the state into a welfare state. He today spoke these as a chief guest while addressing at a half-yearly member (Rokon) meeting-2022. 40 no. word of Jamaat Dhaka City North arranged the meeting. Thana Ameer Harun-ur-Rashid presided over the meeting. Nayeen-e-ameer Abul Bashar, thana secretary Al-Ameen Mehdi and others were also present in the meeting.
“Allah (SW) has made it mandatory over all Muslims to make efforts to establish Islam as a complete code of life. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has narrated, the person who has no efforts to establish Islam is not a complete believer. Deen is the life purpose of every Muslim. We all have to try heart and soul by ignoring all obstacles for the sake of faith to make Islamic movement victorious,” he added. He called on all manpower of oath to play an active role to reach the Da’wah of Islam to everyone to make Islamic movement victorious.
“The path of Islam was never facile but full of troubles. Islam has been victorious by overcoming the path of dangers. Throughout ages, indiscriminate persecution from the side of the self-centered has been inflicted on those who have been urging people to the true path of Islam. Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) and His companions were not safe from their persecution. Being persecuted by the infidels, He along with His relatives and companions was besieged for a long time in Shiab Abi Talib. Their foods and water supply were stopped that time. As a result, they ate the leaves of Babla tree to quench hunger. Finally, by leaving their birthplace, they had to migrate to Madina. So, we should not be frustrated. We must be gone ahead with patience, wisdom and prudence to make Islam victorious,” he further added.
He urged all to remain active in the field to disregard the bloodshot eyes of the tyrants. “Our loving motherland is very fertile for Islamic movement. Public support is also to our favor. If we are able to organize the public support, the victory of Islam will be mandatory in our land. If we want to organize the public support, the activists of Islamic movement have to acquire the qualities of leadership. The activists of Islamic movement have to use their talent, strength, abilities and possibilities with patience, intelligence, wisdom, and prudence to establish Islam. There is no opportunity for the activists of Islamic movement to be emotional rather they have to deal the situation with prudence,” City Ameer again said.
He again urged all activists to be ready to deal with all conspiracies against Islam and Islamic movement. “Government has totally failed to govern the state. They have not shown any success to deal with the covid-19 pandemic. The continuous price hike of daily essentials including edible oil has created mass sufferings. Government has not taken necessary steps to lessen the sufferings of flood affected people all over the country including Sylhet,” he again added.
He urged the government to rescue, to rehabilitate, to provide immediate aid for the flood affected people. Then he pointed out the successive failure of the government saying that government is unelected for this reason, they have no accountabilities and liabilities to people.
“In this situation, there is no alternative but establishing a representative government to free the country and the nation from this suffocating situation,” he again said.
He urged the government to hold a free and fair election under the caretaker government to conduct public opinions. Otherwise, people will establish their rights through an extreme form of movement In-Sha-Allah.
