Jamaat Dhaka City North Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin and member of central executive council addressed the gathering as a chief guest on behalf of the former Cucsu VP advocate Jasim Uddin Sarkar, a candidate for the general seat in the forthcoming Bangladesh Bar Council election. Lawyers Association, an organizational thana of Jamaat Dhaka City North, arranged the program.
Thana Ameer advocate Moin Uddin presided over the program. Secretary advocate Rokon Reza conducted it.
Abdur Rahman Musa, member of central working committee and Nayeeb-e-Ameer of Jamaat Dhaka City North, was the special guest in the program. Advocate Sharif Uddin, assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North, Advocate Shafiqul Rahman, assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North, Advocate Shaheen Akter, Advocate Rezaul Islam, Advocate Mir Nurunnabi Uzzal, Advocate Belayet Hossain Soza, Advocate Shishir Monir, Advocate Mahbub Ferdous and others were present in the program.
“At present, the society where we are living is burdens with various problems. Injustice, usury, bribery, corruption and obscenity have spoiled the morality of the whole nation. The tendency of committing crimes among people has been risen tremendously. As lawyers, we have to play an important role in establishing justice, rules of law and human rights in the state,” he added.
“The law and order situation is deteriorating day by day. The incidents like abductions, rapes disappearances, murders, thefts, robberies and snatchings are occurring available. The victims are being deprived of justice. They are being harassed. As a nation, these are unacceptable for us,” he further added.
“The welfare of mankind lies in the rules of Allah (SW). There is a complete guidance of Allah (SW) in The Holy Qu’ran. We everybody have to play a significant role by establishing rules of law and human rights based on Taqwa. The Dawah of eternal ideology of Islam has to reach to lawyers,” City Ameer again added.
