Bangladesh Jamaat-e- Islami Dhaka City North Ameer and the member of central executive council Mohammad Selim Uddin says, “Allah (SW) has made it obligatory on all Muslims to make efforts to establish Islam.”
Then he quotes a Hadith. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says, “The person who does not try to establish Islam is not a complete believer.”
“The goal of life of a believer is always to try to establish Islam. We have to try to establish Islam by heart and soul by crossing our limitations,” he adds.
He urges the activists to reach Da’wa to all people. He says these as a chief guest while delivering his speech at a unit activist education meeting organized by Shah Ali Thana of Bangladesh Jamaat-e- Islami Dhaka City North in the capital today.
Thana Ameer Dr. Moin Uddin presides over the meeting.
Thana secretary GM Hafeez conducts the meeting.
Mahfuzar Rahman, Assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North and member of central Majlis-e- Shura, is the special guest in the meeting. Members of thana working committee and members of thana Majlis-e- Shura are also present.
Selim Uddin says, “The path of Islamic Movement was never easy, rather it was very difficult. Islam has become a winning force by crossing many difficulties. Those who spread the true message of Islam to people throughout the ages have to face indiscriminate persecution from the opposition. Prophet Muhammad (saw) and His companions were not spared from persecution. Prophet (saw) was victim to persecution. He was besieged a long time with His relatives and companions in Shiab Abi Talib. During that time, their food and water supply was stopped. As a result, they ate the leaves of acacia to suppress their hunger. At last, He as well as His companions had to migrate to Madina. So we have to come forward with patience, wisdom and prudence. We will not frustrate.”
He urges all to remain active ignoring the bloodshot eyes of the tyrant.
“The country is crossing a critical moment. The ruling parties have abolished the caretaker government system from the constitution. They have abolished this system so that they can illegally extend their power. Democracy and democratic institutions of the country have been inactive. In order to usurp power in the coming days, they have unilaterally engaged in new jokes by forming Election Commission Act and so-called search committee. But people will not accept their poly,” he further adds.
He urges the government to include the caretaker government system in the constitution again to make the forthcoming elections free, fair and acceptable.
He condemns the re-arrest of professor Mia Golam Parwar, secretary general of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami from jailgate by the fascist government.
“Government has violated the constitutions and rule of law by re-arresting secretary general of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami,” he again adds.
“Government has basically taken the way of torture and persecution on the opposition party activists including Jamaat-e-Islami as they fear to lose the power,” he adds.
‘But no fascist government survived in the past by following the way of torture and persecution, and they won’t,” he says.
He demands the unconditional release of all political leaders including Professor Mia Parwar.
