Bangladesh Jamaat-e- Islami Dhaka City North Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin and also the member of central executive council provided financial assistance to the families affected by fire on April 08. He provided this assistance as a chief guest in a program arranged by Mirpur south organizational thana. A devastating fire broke out at slum no. 9 in Beltala area of Kalyanpur of the capital on March 20.
Mirpur south organizational thana Ameer Abdul Hameed presides over the program. Thana secretary Rakibul Islam conducts the program. Olama zone director Abdul Zabbar, Baitulmal (Finance) secretary Maulana Tofazzal Hossain, word president Shariful Islam and others were also present in the program.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e- Islami Dhaka City North Ameer says, “As human being, we all are in loss. If we want to be free from this loss, we must follow The Holy Quran. According to The Holy Quran, we have to lead our personal and state functions. We believe that Islam is the complete code of life and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the ideal person for us. The real welfare of the people of the country is not possible until the Islamic ideology is established in the country.”
Selim Uddin said, “Jamaat has been working for the people as well as the state since its establishment. We want to establish Bangladesh as a welfare and prosperous state. Justice will be established for all citizens. He urges all to unite under the banner of Jamaat-e-Islami.”
