A girl is died by a fire at Saidnagar of Bhatara thana of the capital. Several houses are also burnt in this incident.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e- Islami Dhaka City North Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin and also the member of central executive council visits the fire-ravaged area on Sunday afternoon.
He speaks with the victims during this time and assures them of all-round cooperation from the side of Jamaat. He also distributes cash among the victims.
Mohammad Selim Uddin says, “Jamaat is a pro-people and welfare political party. The service of humanity and the welfare of the people is one of the goals and ideals of Jamaat’s politics.”
“We always try our level best to help common people in crucial time, ”he adds.
“We have come forward today with our limited capacity for the people damaged by the fire,” he further adds.
“A setback has been made for covid-19 high infection. The lives of common people have severely hampered. In this situation, no believer can remain inactive. The teaching of Islam is to be kind towards mankind. So we have to work according to our abilities for the helpless, rootless and poor people to deal with covid-19 caused disaster,” he again adds.
Then he quotes a Hadith and says, “Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says that the person who works for the welfare of mankind is favorite to Allah.”
He urges all political workers and leaders to help the covid-19 affected people.
Member of central working committee and Nayeeb-e-Ameer of Jamaat Dhaka City North Abdur Rahman Musa, member of central Majlis-e- Shura and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North Nazim Uddin Mollah, member of Majlis-e- Shura and Ameer of Bhatara thana Engineer Kamal Uddin, secretary Rezaul Karim and thana Tarbiot secretary Md. Mizanur Rahman are also present.
