Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, “Islam has given the importance on organized life.” He quoted the verse no. 103 of Surah Al- Imran from the Holy Quran where it has been narrated, “And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (i.e this Quran) and not be divided among yourselves.”
It has been narrated in Musnad Ahmad and Sunan-e- Tirmizi, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “I command you five words that Allah has commanded me. They are to organize, to listen to the leader, to obey the leader, to emigrate, and to wage Jihad (to struggle to the path of Allah).”
It has been said elsewhere, “The person who left Jamaat (Islamic organization), he actually throws the chain of Islam away from his throat.” So the Muslims cannot lead their lives outside the structure of Islamic organization.
He urged the ex- student leaders to work strongly by uniting in all adversities.
He said these as a chief guest while addressing at a virtual conference of the Ex-student leaders organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e- Islami Dhaka City North in the capital today.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin and also the member of central executive council presided over the conference. Secretary Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim conducted the program.
Assistant secretary general and ex-MP A H M Hamidur Rahman Azad was the special guest of the conference.
Central assistant secretary general advocate Muazzam Hossain Helal, member of central working committee advocate Jasim Uddin Sarkar , member of central working committee and Nayeeb-e- Ameer of Jamaat Dhaka City North Abdur Rahman Musa, Central President of Islami Chhatra Shibir Hafiz Rashedul Islam, member of central Majlis-e- Shura and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North Lashkar Mohammad Taslim, Dr. Fakharuddin Manik, Professor Nakibur Rahman Tarique, the elder son of Shaheed Motiur Rahman Nizami, Ali Ahmad Mabrur, the younger son of Shaheed Ali Ahasan Muhammad Muzahid and others also delivered their speech.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, “The country is crossing a critical period. The citizens are not able to enjoy their rights. The security of lives and wealth of the citizens is being hampered. Almost all rights including the right of voting have been taken away.”
“The government has spoiled all constitutional institutions of the state. The traders and businessmen are not able to run their businesses,” he added.
“Those who try to abolish the light of Islam from Bangladesh have failed. Now the foundation of Islam of Bangladesh has been stronger,” he further added.
He again urged all to unite to prevent all conspiracies against Islam.
He also said, “ Jamaat-e-Islami is the backbone of Bangladesh. Jamaat has become the trust of people. Basically, those who loot the properties of people, rape women never can be the savers of the state. Believers can never be collaborators. They are always respectful to nation and to the country.”
Then he narrated a Hadith and said, “Whoever takes one step towards Allah, Allah takes ten steps towards him. So if we come forward, the help of Allah will also come forward. That day man will not be the slave of man. The day will be the day of victory.”
He called upon all to establish the sovereighty of Allah instead of the slavery of men.
The special guest A H M Hamidur Rahman Azad said, “Islami Chhatra Shibir Started their mission to lead the new generation towards the path of Allah. Their mission and vision was to train the students and then they will lead their practical lives. Basically, establishment of Islamic movement is the greatest duty (Faraz). The mission of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was this. So there is no opportunity to leave this movement.”
He urged all to be active more to the larger Islamic movement.
Selim Uddin said, “The importance of oath in Islam is immense. The oath is only for the satisfaction of Allah.”
Then he quoted the verse no. 10 of Surah Al-Fath from The Holy Quran.
Where Allah says, “Verily, those who give Bai’ah (pledge) to you (O Muhammad) they are giving Bai’ah (pledge) to Allah. The Hand of Allah is over their hands. Then whosoever breaks his pledge, breaks it only to his own harm; and whosoever fulfills what he has covenanted with Allah, he will bestow on him a great reward.”
He urged the workers of Islamic movement to take oath as soon as possible.
