Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and Dhaka city north unit’s nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa stated, “There is no alternative but to establish Islamic financial policy in the country for poverty alleviation and building a new Bangladesh free from hunger and unemployment.”
He yesterday evening made the remarks as the chief guest while speaking at a view-exchange meeting and sewing machine distribution event at an auditorium in the capital’s Kafrul. Thana Ameer Rezaul Karim presided over the view-exchange meeting while thana secretary Hafeez Ashiqur Rahman conducted it. Noted thinker professor dr Abdus Samad was the key speaker in the meeting. Bangladesh Labor Welfare’s central vice president Lashker Muhammad Taslim, Tarek Reza Tuhim among others were present in the view-exchange meeting.
Usury based financial policy has destroyed our national economy. As a result, the poor are becoming more poor and the rich are becoming more rich. The gap between the poor and the rich is becoming far. Therefore, there is no alternative but to establish an Islamic economic system for making the poor self-reliant. Islamic financial policy builds the foundation of economy of a country. Only this system can ensure the poor’s rights, Abdur Rahman Musa added.
He urged everyone to be united under the banner of Jamaat to build a society free from discrimination based on justice.
