Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin urged everyone irrespective of parties and opinions to be united in the ground under the banner of Jamaat.
Jamaat is a name of movement, a positive change. Jamaat dreams of a state in which there will be no gap between heaven and earth, he added.
He today evening made these remarks as the chief guest while addressing a ward-level conference in the capital’s Mirpur. Zone coordinator and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North unit Mahfuzur Rahman presided over the conference. Jamaat central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa spoke as the special guest in the conference. Jamaat Dhaka City North unit’s Mojlisj-e-Shura member Monirul Islam Mridha, Hekim Abdul Mannan, advocate Alauddun Sohel, GM Hafizur Rahman, Abdullah Muaz among others spoke in the conference. Maulana Abdul Jabbar Khan presented Darsul Quaran.
Allah (swt) ordained us to earn knowledge. So, Jamaat prefers knowledge to any other things. We aim to build a Bangladesh based on knowledge. We are firmed in this matter. Jamaat is a unique organization based on knowledge of revelation. It is an organization of character building. So, our manpower is not involved in crimes. Extortionists and terrorists have no room in our organization, city Ameer claimed.
He called on everyone to be united to establish a new Bangladesh based on knowledge and justice.
Jamaat always works for the sake of humanity. Jamaat workers find out the problems of the society at first, then, they try to resolve them. Jamaat men have to play a vital role in the ground to maintain people’s basic needs, Selim Uddin concluded.
He called for building an Islamic welfare society, a society free from inequality.
