Abdul Haque Miazi, member (Rokon) of Mohammadpur thana south unit of Jamaat Dhaka City North, passed away at Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital, Dhanmondi, Dhaka at 3:00pm yesterday- Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun. He had been suffering from various physical complications including cardiac problem for a long time. He was 52. He left behind his wife, a son, 2 daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers.
His first namaj-e-janaja was held after Majrib prayer at Baitul Aksa Mosque premises. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim led the funeral prayer (janaja). Later, the deceased was taken to his native village Sundarpur of Sadar upazila of Feni district and was cremated in their family graveyard at 10:am today.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin and secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Abdul Haque Miazi.
He was a dedicated soul to establish Islam. He was a very kind and pious man, May Allah (swt) forgive him, bless him, shower mercy on him and grant him the highest Paradise (Janna). Ameen.
They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members, well-wishers and supporters. city leaders added in a joint-message.
