Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin said, “We want such a society where there will be no discrimination among people. Jamaat is a pro-people political organization. So, Jamaat will lead Bangladesh In-Sha-Allah.”
He yesterday evening made the remarks as the chief guest while addressing an associate member conference and cultural event at an auditorium in the capital’s Rupnagar. Thana Ameer Abu Hamif presided over the conference while secretary Musharaf Hossain Bhuyan conducted it. Jamaat Dhaka City North unit’s nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa, and secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim spoke as the special guests. Dhaka City North unit’s working committee member Nasir Uddin, engineer Sirazul Islam, Pallabi thana north unit’s Ameer Maulana Saiful Kader and PAllabi thana south unit’s Ameer professor Asraful Alam among others were present on the conference.
Jamaat activists do not engage in corruption, extortion, bribe and other crimes against humanity. But the fallen dictator conducted oppression on us. Awami League regime engaged in enforced disappearance, torture, assassination. They unjustly killed our top leaders, Selim Uddin alleged.
Jamaat is an idealist and friendly political party. They want to establish a society based on Quran and Sunnah, Jamaat leader added.
Selim Uddin urged everyone to remain united.
