Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin urged the countrymen to strengthen Jamaat as a political entity to build a discrimination-free Bangladesh.
A special group conducted oppression on slum dwellers. Fire incidents are always mysterious in slum areas. An investigative committee must be formed to find out the reasons of fire incidents. Perpetrators must be brought to justice and accountable, City Ameer demanded.
He today morning made the remarks as the chief while visiting the fire affected area. City Ameer talked to fire affected people and listened them. He assured the affected that Jamaat would stand by them. Jamaat Dhaka City North unit’s assistant secretary Yeasin Arafat, Gulshan thana west Ameer Mahmudur Rahman Azad, thana working committee member Abdullah-al Mamun, Helal Uddin among others were present.
State will resolve all the problems of citizens but a welfare state is not established in Bangladesh as a result people are being deprived of state facilities. Jamaat has been working to stand by affected people as a pro-people and welfare political organization, Selim Uddin claimed.
He called upon everyone irrespective of parties and opinions to come forward to stand by fire affected people.
