Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim said, “The governments of Bangladesh in past went in vain to protect people’s rights. They also could not protect the independence and sovereignty of the country.”
He called upon the activists of the party to remain patient to make the victory meaningful and successful.
Dr Rezaul Karim today made the remarks as the chief guest while speaking a workers’ rally at an auditorium in Luxmipur. Jamaat Digli union arranged the workers’ rally. Union Ameer Maulana Masudul Karim presided over the rally while Luxmipur district Ameer S U M Ruhul Ameen spoke as the special guest. Jamaat Luxmipur district assistant secretary Maulana Nasir Uddin Mahmud, working committee member professor Abdur Rahman Chandraganj thana Ameer Nur Muhammad Rasel, advocate Rezaul Khan Sumon among others spoke in the rally.
Rezaul Karim called for greater unity to make the country an Islamic welfare state.
