Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin said, Jamaat wants to build a self-reliant country. They are working to make the country a welfare state.

He today made the remarks as the chief guest while speaking a medical camp inauguration and winter cloth distribution event in the capital’s Uttarkhan. Thana Ameer Muhammad Ismail Hossain presided over the event while central Mojlish-e-Shura member Muhammad Jamal Uddin spoke as the special guest in the event.
Shamsul Kabir, Tazul Islam, Abdul Awal, Rafiqul Islam, Nazim Uddin, Abdul Hakim, Shamser Ali, Tanzir Hossain, Helal Khan among others were present.
Jamaat works for the salvation of people from Hellfire. They are building a group of people, who will lead the nation. We stress on family, society and state building, city Ameer added.
He urged to the wealthy people of the society to come forward to assist the cold people of the country.
Food, cloth, residence, education and medical treatment are basic human needs but people have been deprived of these needs during the regime of fallen dictator, Jamaat leader alleged.
Awami League killed top Jamaat leaders unjustly, he further alleged.
He called upon everyone irrespective of parties and opinions to stand by cold people.
