Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman said, student-led mass uprising is one of the most positive changes in the history of Bangladesh.
Allah (swt) made Bangladesh fertile for us by this revolution, he added.
Dr Shafiqur Rahman yesterday evening made the remarks as the chief guest while addressing a thana-fellow brother rally at Al-falah Conference center in the capital’s Moghbazar.
Then, he mentioned the people’s desires of Bangladesh and said, people prayed to Allah so that quality and honest persons could come to power. Mass people expect to Jamaat more.
Jamaat Ameer recalled the importance of Taqwa (fear to Allah) to Jamaat leaders, and urged them to be vocal against all form of plots and conspiracies.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is not only a political, social or Dawa organization but also a complete code of life, Shafiqur Rahman claimed.
He called upon party men to be vigil about new plots and conspiracies.
If we take care people, Allah will fulfill our dream. We want to make our nation victorious, he further added.
Thana presidents (Ameers) of Jamaat Dhaka City North unit will work with uniqueness and creativity. Jamaat upholds the spirit of Islam, Selim Uddin said as the chair.
He urged meritorious and brilliant members to come forward to lead the organization.
Jamaat central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim conducted the rally. City nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa, engineer Golum Mustafa, assistant secretary Mahfuzur Rahman, Nazim Uddin Mollah, Dr Fakharuddin Manik, Maulana Yeasin Arafat among others were present.
Mohammad Selim Uddin administered the oath with thana presidents, who were elected by members of Jamaat Dhaka City North for the session 2025-2026.
