Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin demanded, the martyrs of July-August Revolution should be declared as national heroes.
Jamaat Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer urged to the government and the owners of industries to pay attention to the workers if they want to make the country a happy, prosperous and developed welfare state free from hunger and poverty.
He today made the remarks as the chief guest while addressing a rally in the capital’s Gabtali. Dhaka City North unit of Bangladesh Labor Welfare Federation arranged the rally. City unit’s president Maulana Muhibullah was the chair while secretary AHM Atiqur Rahman conducted it. Jamaat’s central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa was the special guest. Bangladesh Labor Welfare Federation’s secretary advocate Atiqur Rahman, Jamaat Dhaka City North unit’s media & publicity secretary Muhammad Ataur Rahman Sarker, Labor Welfare Federation’s central office secretary Nurul Ameen, Gazipur City unit’s president Fardin Hasan Hasib, Dhaka City North unit’s vice-president Gazi Mahbubul Alam and Hasan Imam, assistant secretary Abdul Mannan Panna, Hossain Ahammad, and Saiful Islam, garment unit’s president Abdul Ali Bashar, Road & Transportation unit’s president Kamal Uddin Raihan, Labor leader Shahadat Hossain among others spoke in the rally.
Labors are one of the key forces of national development. They are being deprived of basic needs, added Selim Uddin.
He emphasized on implementing Islamic labor law. Jamaat leader called upon everyone to work together under the banner of Jamaat.
Awami BaKSAL terrorists are trying to create chaos in the country. They had established a reign of terror during their rule. People were unable to exercise their rights, he alleged.
