Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka north city unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selin said, “Library plays an important role in building a creative, talented and civil nation. It will help us face the challenges of 21st century.”
He today said these as the chief guest while opening a BRP Islamic library in the capital’s Bhasanteg. BRP welfare council chief adviser Dr Ahasan Habib presided over the function. Bangladesh Labor Welfare Federation vice-president Lashkar Muhammad Taslim, Jamaat central Mojlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka north city unit’s assistant secretary Dr Fakharuddin Manik, Shahidullah, Alauddin Mollah, Bhasanteg thana secretary Ali Hossain among others were present.
Ousting fascist regime, student-mass revolution freed the country from autocracy and dictatorship. We must not allow the sacrifices of martyrs to go in vain. We have to establish democracy and democratic values in all institutions. We will reform the country, he claimed.
Jamaat Dhaka north city unit’s Ameer called for united efforts to build the country here.
He further urged everyone to be united in the field to establish a country based on Quranic rules.
We are committed to building a united Bangladesh to protect the country, the country’s independence, sovereignty and state integrity, Islam and Islamic values, and the honor of people, he emphasized.
Selim Uddin urged everyone irrespective of thought, caste and religion to come to the library for reading books.
