Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former law maker Professor Mia Golum Parwar said, “Awami League fascist government has been ousted by a strong form of movement across the country. Jamaat’ members should be worked unitedly to make the victory successful and sustainable.”
He called upon to the man power of all levels of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami to work together for the sake of humanity.
He today morning said these as the chief guest while addressing the members’ conference at the Palwel Convention Centre in the capital’s Abdullahpur. Uttara East-West zone of Jamaat’s Dhaka north city unit arranged the conference. Jamaat’s central working committee member and Dhaka north city unit’s secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim presided over the conference while central executive council’s member and Dhaka north city unit’s Ameer Mohammed Selim Uddin was the special guest.
Central working committee member and Dhaka north city unit’s nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa, central working committee member Dr Maulana Abul Ihasan and central mojlish-e-shura member Muhammad Jamal Uddin among others spoke in the conference.
“Members are Jamaat’s pilar. ‘Rokon’ means foundation, pilar. In organizational terminology, the word ‘Rokon’ is very important and significant. Basically, ‘Rokons’ (members) are the key man power of the organisation,” Mia Golum Parwer added.
The Jamaat leader emphasised on the practice and study of The Quran, Hadith and Islamic literature. He urged the members to acquire knowledge and proper skills to lead the country.
He further asked the activists to be ready to make any sacrifice for the sake of the country and the nation.
‘Jamaat is an ideal organisation. It is not a conventional traditional political party; it builds idealist and worthy people,’ claimed Jamaat’s secretary.
Jamaat’s members should be played a frontline role to protect the independence and sovereignty of the country, Selim Uddin added as the special guest.
Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim as the chair of the conference termed the July-august martyrs as national heroes.
“The martyrs are our national heroes and supreme sons,” he added.
