Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohmmad Selim Uddin said, “Islamic scholars and preachers played a vital role to make the student-led mass uprising meaning. They are our guides and philosophers.”
The city Ameer urged the Islamic scholars to play a role of safeguard for protecting the spirit of mass uprising.
He today said these as the chief guest while sharing his views with Islamic scholars, preachers and orators in the capital’s Mirpur. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North arranged the exchange of views meeting after the victory of a student-led mass uprising.
Central Mojlish-e-shura member and Dhaka City North unit’s assistant secretary Mahfuzur Rahman presided over the exchange of views meeting. City working committee member Mustafizur Rahman conducted it. Dr. Maulana Habibur Rhaman, Sha Alam Tuhin, among others were present.
Selim Uddin mentioned the name of some Muslim heroes, who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Islami, country and humanity. Titumir, Hazi Shariot Ullah’s contributions have reached Muslim’s Ummah.
“Awami League government conducted a violent form of crackdown on Islamic scholars. They judicially killed many alem-ulemas,” added he.
