“This flood is not natural; it is a manmade plight. India opened dams and caused floods in our country. Over 5 million people in the southern part of the country are stranded. The flood caused huge damage of lives and properties. Cattle were washed away. Shri Pranay Kumar Verma, the High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh, met Professor Dr. Muhammad Younus, Chief Adviser of interim government on Thursday but did not explain the real cause of flood. He hidden the truth,” added Rezaul Karim.
The city secretary urged the Indian government to refrain from imprudent decision with neighboring countries.
Jamaat is a pro-people, idealist political organization. It has been working for the sake of humanity since its establishment, he further added.
Then, he quoted a Hadith in which Prophet (pbuh) said, “Whoever removes the danger of his Muslim brother, Allah Ta’ala will remove his danger on the Day of Resurrection.”
