Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin demanded, “The killers of ousted fascist government must be brought to justice immediately.”
“Hold them immediately and it needs to be your first priority. Otherwise, they will flee the country or cause chaos in the country,” requesting to Home Adviser, Selim Uddin said these.
The city Ameer today said these while exchanging views with victims of martyred family members of Anti-Discrimination Students’ Movement at a restaurant in capital’s Tejgaon. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Tejgaon zone arranged the meeting.
“It is very difficult to address before Shaheed family members but we have to say. We met victims of martyred family members. May victims of martyred family members express feelings. Let the nation know by media and news outlets what type of brutal crackdown has been conducted on protesting students and masses,” added Selim Uddin.
The Jamaat leader requested the journalists to telecast and publish the news of victims of Shaheed families.
He demanded the justice of killers of ousted autocratic government.
“Sheikh Hasina, her family members, cabinet members, MP’s are the guides of genocide. They must be held justice immediately. Government should take necessary steps as soon as possible,” Selim Uddin further added.
The list of martyrs and injured should be published soon, he also added.
Jamaat central Mojlish-e-shura member Hemayet Hossain presided over the meeting. City media and publicity secretary Muhammad Ataur Rahman Sarker conducted it. Central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa, and secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim ware the special guests. Jamaat Tejgaon thana north Ameer Hafez Ahasan Ullah, Dhaka City Noth unit’s Labor Welfare Federation president Maulana Muhibullah, Tejgaon thana south Ameer engineer Noman Ahammadi, Industrial thana Ameer Alauddin, nayeb-e-Ameer Muhammad Ullah Bhuyan, Hatirjheel thana east secretary Khandakar Ruhul Ameen and others were present on the meeting.
Mohammad Selim Uddin handed over taka 1 lakh to every martyred family at the end of the meeting.
