“Awami League and its allies made the country an undeclared fascist state. They started killings from October 28, 2006 and continued to August 5, 2024. Awami League chief demanded the unelected emergency government their success. The emergency government declared ‘fight’ against corruption but they themselves had committed corruption. The Awami BaKSAL were brought to power to legalize the emergency government’s corruption,” Shafiqur Rahman added.
“Awami League killed prominent leaders in the name of so-called trial. They conducted a violent form of repression on people and made the country a mafia state. They laundered huge amount of money abroad. They were involved in killings, terrorism, extortion and caused anarchy in the country. Bangladesh was a reign of terror during Awami regime,” he further added.
Jamaat Ameer urged people to prepare a list of these miscreants and make it public.
“We will not take revenge on anyone. Jamaat does not believe in revenge politics but perpetrators must be brought to justice. Majority-minority is a tool of repression in our country. We all are Bangladeshis irrespective of religion, caste and community. We all are sons of a single mother. We will not destroy communal harmony in the country. We will distinguish between the right and wrong,” Jamaat Ameer also added.
Students of today will lead the nation tomorrow. He urged the new generation to take preparations for taking future leadership.
Jamaat has been working relentlessly to turn the country into a welfare state since its establishment, Selim Uddin said as the chair.
He urged all to follow the ordains of Jamaat Ameer.
