Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim distributed hand cash to 46 people, who were severely injured during Anti-Discrimination Students’ Movement, undergoing treatment at Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital, Dhaka. Jamaat Dhaka City Nort took the initiative.
The city secretary talked to them for some times. He listened to them and assured them all possible cooperation. He prayed for them for speedy recovery.
Jamaat central Mojlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka City North unit’s assistant secretary Dr Fakharuddin Manik, media & publicity secretary Muhammad Ataur Rahman Sarker, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar thana south Ameer Aminul Islam, secretary Abu Sayeed Mondol, Jamaat leader Jamil Hossain, Maulana Ruhul Ameen, Johirul Islam, Ashraful Islam, Murad Hossain and others were present.
“By winning the anti-discrimination student movement, those who have contributed to rid the country from misrule, fascism and dictatorship are national heroes. They will be remembered forever,” added Rezaul Karim.
He remembered the martyrs with respect and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members. He also thanked and congratulated the victorious.
“A group of fascists is spreading propaganda by the name of minority torture. They are making conspiracy against the state and the nation,” he alleged.
He urged all to remain united to make the victory a success.
