Jamaat Turag thana south Ameer Muhammad Mahbub Alam’s father Motier Rahman Farazi passed away at 6:20pm on June 29 at Rajarbag Police Lines Hospital while undergoing treatment – Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun. He was suffering from various physical complications including heart disease, COPD, kidney complications for a long time. He was 86. He left behind his wife, 3 sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers.
His first namaj-e-janaja was held at Uttara Model Town Jame Mosjid at 10:30pm. Jamaat central Mojlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka City North unit’s assistant secretary Nazim Uddin Mollah led the janaja. Hundreds of people including Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa, Jamaat Dhaka City North unit’s Labor Welfare Federation president Maulana Mohibullah, Uttara zone west director Mahbubul Alam joined the janaja.
The body of the deceased was then taken to his home in Amtala village of Gangarampur union of Batiaghata police station of Khulna district. He was cremated at their family graveyard after second janaja.
Condolence message
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin and secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Motier Rahman Farazi.
“Motier Rahman Farazi was a well-wisher of Islamic movement. He was a very pious man. We lost a kind-hearted man and well-wisher at his death,” they said these at a condolence message.
City leaders prayed to the court of Almighty Allah for eternal peace of the departed soul. They also conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
