Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin urged the former student leaders to enrich and dynamize the greater movement by utilizing experience and wisdom which they have gained in student movement.
He today said these as the chair while speaking at a rally with the former student leaders of Islamic student movement in an auditorium in the capital. Jamaat central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim conducted it. Jamaat central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa, central Mojlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka City North unit’s assistant secretary Dr Fakharuddin Manik, Shibir central president Monjurul Islam, Shibir former president Yeasin Arafat and Rajibur Rahman were present on the event.
Student movement was theoretical. It is time to apply theoretic knowledge in the greater movement. You have entered in a new chapter of life. Don’t waste of time. Use time properly for Islamic movement. This is the real life.
Selim Uddin welcomed the former student movement leaders to the greater movement.
“All the adversities of life should be faced with patience and wisdom. There is no necessity of fear. You have to work for livelihood,” he added.
This land is very fertile for Islamic movement. People have eagerness about us but we are lagging behind due to leadership crisis. Islamic student movement is the source of leadership creation. We are not frustrated but optimists.
He congratulated the Islami Chhatrashibir and its leadership for making a special contribution in creating honest, competent and patriotic leadership and extended his warm wishes to the newcomers.
