Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim said, “The blood of oppressed Palestinians will never go in vain. Rather, following the ideals of martyrs, Palestinians will establish an independent and sovereign Palestine In-Sha-Allah.”
He today said these while speaking at a post-demonstration rally in the capital. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North unit brought out a demonstration as part of the central program protesting the crimes against humanity, aggression of the Israeli forces and the killing of innocent Muslims and demanding the establishment of independent Palestine. The demonstration started from Mirpur-1. It moved various important roads and ended with a short rally at Technical of the capital.
Jamaat central Mojlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka City North unit’s assistant secretary Mahfuzur Rahman, Nazim Uddin Mollah, Dr Fakharuddin Manik, central Mojlish-e-Shura member Ziaul Hasan, Yeasin Arafat, Jamal Uddin, Dhaka City North unit’s working committee member Muhammad Ataur Rahman Sarker, Nasir Uddin, student leader Salah Uddin, Abdur Rahim, Asaduzzaman and others were present on the demonstration.
“Brutal Israeli forces have committed genocide in Gaza. They have killed more than 40 thousand innocent civilians in Gaza since October 7. Israeli atrocities are more heinous than Halaku Khan, who committed genocide in Bagdad. The Zionists are committing war crimes in Gaza. The Israeli militants should be brought to justice,” Dr M R Karim alleged.
He urged the international organizations including the United Nations to immediately take action to stop Israeli attacks in Gaza. Otherwise, the Muslim world will not be inactive.
“The establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestine state is the only solution of the crisis. The Muslim nation is supporting the Palestinians. The Israeli forces are killing children, women and innocent civilians. The Muslim world should be played an active role against the cruelties of Zionists in Gaza,” he further added.
The Jamaat leader called upon the government to stand in solidarity with Palestinians bringing a motion of censure in Parliament.
“The incumbent government is a pro-Israeli government. They secretly imported surveillances from Israel to kill the activists of Islamic movement. They have snatched away people’s rights. Awami League is violating human rights in the country. The government is operating crackdown on party leaders and alem-ulemas in the country but they cannot save them,” Rezaul Karim further alleged.
He urged the government to immediately stop anti-Islam conspiracies in the country. Otherwise, they have to face mass anger.
