Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa said, “Devoted Muslims spend their time in performing salat and fasting in the month of holy Ramadan. But the anti-people government repressed the fasters.”
He urged the activists and fellow brothers of Jamaat to remain united to dethrone the oppressive government.
He today said these as the chief guest while speaking at an Eid reunion at an auditorium in the capital. Kafrul zone of Jamaat Dhaka City North unit arranged the event. Jamaat central Mojlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka City North unit’s assistant secretary Dr Fakharuddin Manik was the chair. Zone assistant director Muhammad Shahidullah conducted it. Jamaat Dhaka City North unit’s working committee member S M Tutul, Kafrul thana south Ameer Ibne Islam Taleb, Kafrul thana west Ameer Abdul Matin Khan, zone team member Alauddin Mollah, Kafrul thana north Ameer Rezaul Islam Mahmud, Bhasantek thana Ameer dr Ahasan Habib and others spoke in the Eid reunion.
“Jamaat has been working for the sake of humanity. Jamaat activists are playing the role of nayeb-e-Rasul. They are upholding the ideals of Islam before men. They are the victims of attacks, enforced disappearances, arrasts, repression. The tyrant government has been detaining ATM Azharul Islam since 2013,” Abdur Rahman Musa alleged.

Jamaat held Eid reunion at Bhasantek, Sha Ali and Hatirjheel areas in the capital.
