Abul Kalam Azad, member (Rokon) of Dakshin Khan thana of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North unit, died at a motorcycle accident on April 14 – Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun. He was 32. His wife was seriously injured. He was youngest among 5 brothers and sisters. He left behind his wife, parents and a host of relatives and well-wishers. His village home is Morabhanga village of Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga district.
Condolence message
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin and secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Abul Kalam Azad.
In a joint condolence message, expressing deep shock and sorrow the two leaders said, “The deceased was the frontline fighter of Islamic movement. He was a sincere and dedicated soul to establish Islam.”
City leaders prayed to the court of Almighty Allah for eternal peace of the departed soul. They also conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
