Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive member and Dhaka City North Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin’s elder brother Mohammad Badrul Haque passed away at 12:00am yesterday at Ibn Sina Hospital, Sylhet under treatment (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun). He was suffering from various physical complications including complication related to brain stroke. He was 63. He left behind 2 wives, a son, a daughter, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and a host of relatives and well-wishers.
The deceased’s burial prayer (namaj-e-janaja) was held at Austogori Jame Mosque compound of Bianibazar of Sylhet. He was buried at his family graveyard.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami nayeb-e-Ameer and former law maker Maulana ANM Shamsul Islam, central working committee member and Sylhet City Ameer Fakhrul Islam, central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim, Dhaka City South unit’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Abdus Sabur Fakhir, Jamaat Dhaka City North unit’s assistant secretary Nazim Uddin Mollah, central mojlish-e-Shura member Lashkar Muhammad Taslim, Maulana Habibur Rahman, Sylhet district north Ameer Anuwar Hossain Khan, Sylhet district south nayeb-e-Ameer Lukman Ahammad, Moulovibazar district nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman, Bianibazar upazilla Ameer Faisul Islam and others were present on the burial prayer. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin led the burial prayer.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa and secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Badrul Haque.
He was a sincere and dedicated soul to establish Islam. May Allah bless him with paradise. May Allah forgive him and shower mercy on him. We are extending our sympathy to his mournful family and well-wishers.
