Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member, Dhaka City North unit’s secretary and Laksmipur Sadar Unnayan Foundation chairman Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim urged the fire victims to deal the situation with patience and courage. He also called upon them to depend on Allah during danger.
He today said these while visiting the fire-affected areas of Joksin Marker of Laksmipur and distributing hand cash among the victims. Jamaat Chandragong thana Ameer Mustafa Mollah, secretary Rezaul Islam Khan Sumon, city secretary Maulana Johirul Islam, Mohabbat member master Sha Alam and others were present on the event.
“Allah tests the believers with a touch of fear and famine and loss of property, life, and crops. So, don’t lose your mental strength,” the city leader added.
“Fire accident in the country has broken all past records. There are a lot of allegations that miscreants torches fire but the government has not taken effective steps to reduce fire accidents,” the Laksmipur Sadar Unnayan Foundation chairman alleged.
Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim distributed hand cash among the victims.
“Irregularities have been institutionalized in our country. Democratic institutions have been destroyed in the country. Judiciary, administration and law enforcers and all the sectors have been corrupted,” he further alleged.
He urged everyone to work together to establish a society based on justice.
