Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim said, “Ramadan is the month in which The Quran is revealed. It is the month in whichThe battle of Badr was occurred. Ramadan demands to establish a society according to the rules of Quran.”
He today (on Saturday) said these as the chief guest while speaking at an Iftar mahfil in the capital. 49 No. ward of Nagorik Unnoyan Forum arranged the Iftar mahfil.
Principal Enamul Haque Shipon, convener of 49 no. Nagorik Unnoyan Forum ward and Ameer of Jamaat airport thana, presided over the event. Thana Jamaat secretary Suzarul Haque Sujon, thana working committee member Abdur Rahim Sabbir, Mahbubul Islam Didar, Anisur Rahman, Ikramul Haque, engineer Nasir Uddin, Aktar Hossain and others were present on the event.
“Ramadan is the month of self-purification. The teaching of Ramadan is to enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency,” the Jamaat leader added.
“One Day, Jamaat will build up the country free from hunger, poverty and unemployment with the support of masses In-Sha-Allah,” he added.
Dr Rezaul Karim handed over some gift items to civil society from the side of Nagorik Unnoyan Forum chairman Mohammad Selim Uddin.
