Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim urged everyone to work together to establish a society based on justice using the teaching of the holy month of Ramadan.
He today said these as the chief guest while distributing food packets and Iftar items among the local poor people at Uttara in the capital. Uttara Model thana of Jamaat Dhaka City unit arranged the event. Thana secretary Bodiuzzaman Bokul presided over the event. Office secretary Osman Goni Jewel conducted it. Jamaat leader Elius Hossain, Abu Talha, Hafeez Ashrah and many others were present on the event.
“Ramadan is the month of self-purification. The teaching of Ramadan is to enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency. The Ramadan in which the Quran had been revealed,” he added.
“We have come here to assist you from Jamaat,” the Jamaat leader added.
He further urged the party leaders and activists to try their level best to reduce the miseries of the poor.
“Zakat is one of the most important pillars of Islam. Zakat based economy should be run across the country. It will reduce the differences between the rich and the poor,” Dr Rezaul Karim also added.
Jamaat cantonment thana observed Quran distribution program
Thana Ameer AB Saki presided over the program. Thana secretary M N Rahman conducted it. Jamaat central Mojlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka City North unit’s assistant secretary Nazim Uddin Mollah was the chief guest.
Jamaat Hatirjheel thana west arranged a member applicants’ teaching camp. Jamaat Dhaka City North unit’s media & publicity secretary Muhammad Ataur Rahman Sarker conducted it. Jamaat central Mojlish-e-Shura member and Hatirjheel zone director Muhammad Hemayet Hossain was the chief guest. Jamaat leader Kalimullah, Azgor Hossain and others were present on the meeting.
