Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive member & Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin and secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of the central president of Bangladesh Majlish-ul-Mufassirin, the veteran religious scholar, orator and Islamic preacher Maulana Lutfar Rahman.
They have issued the following message of condolence on 3rd March, 2024 expressing deep shock and sorrow at the death of the central president of Bangladesh Majlisul Mufassirin and world renowned Islamic scholar Allama Lutfor Rahman.
“Maulana Lutfar Rahman was a world famous Islamic preacher. He was famous both home and abroad. He was a sincere and dedicated soul to establish Islam. In the case of Ittehadul Ummah and other occasions, his role to unify the community of Islamic scholars will be remembered always. He was involved with hundreds of religious and academic institutions. He was the spiritual guide of the scholar community and the Islam-loving people. He has worked relentlessly against Shirk, innovations in Islam and other anti-Islamic activities. The countrymen will remember him for his religious services for years. The nation has lost a great personality at his demise and his vacuum will not be fulfilled easily,” city leaders added.
May Allah (swt) forgive him, bless him, shower mercy on him and grant him the highest Paradise (Janna). Ameen.
They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members, well-wishers and supporters.
