Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive member Abdur Rab said, “Jamaat has deep roots in this country.”
He added that government’s repression could not stop the flow of Jamaat.
‘Islamic movement will continue until Islam, as a complete code of life, is established in Bangladesh,’ he further added.
He today (on Sunday) said these as a chief guest while speaking at a ‘virtual unit president-secretary meeting’ in the capital. Uttara zone west of Jamaat Dhaka City North arranged the meeting. Jamaat central working committee member, Dhaka City North unit’s secretary and zone director Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim presided over the meeting. Jamaat central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa spoke as a special guest.
Dr Habibur Rahman, president of ulema unit of Jamaat Dhaka City North presented the Darsul Quran. Assistant zone director Mahbubul Alam, Jamaat Dhaka City North unit’s Mojlish-e-Shura member Majharul Islam, Motiur Rahman, Mahfuzur Rahman and others were present on the meeting.
“Unit organization is the foundation of Islamic movement. A standard unit will be the inspiration of Islamic movement. We have to broaden dawah activities,” Abdur Rab Bhuyan again added.
“Allah has sent us as representatives to this earth. We have come to this earth for a certain period. Our duty is to invite man to the path of Islam,” the Jamaat leader also added.
The activists of Islamic movement have to face the perspective with patience and courage.
“The repression on activists of Islamic movement is not new, rather it is the continuation of history,” Abdur Rahman Musa said as the special guest.
He urged the activists of Islamic movement to play an important role to establish an Islamic welfare state based on justice.
“This country does not belong to a special group or class. People did not lease the country to anybody. The Islamic movement should be strengthened ignoring the obstacles of fascists,” dr Rezaul Karim said these as the chair.
