Weekly Sonar Bangla assistant editor Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim urged everyone irrespective of party, religion, caste, class, community including government to work together for the sake of underprivileged and cold people.
He today said these as the chief guest while distributing winter clothes among Garo community at an auditorium in Gulshan area of the capital. Youth Welfare Council Gulshan thana east of Dhaka City North arranged the winter cloth distribution event. Gulshan zone youth welfare council director Abu Zunayed presided over the event. Assistant director FahimAbdullah, Gulshan east thana youth welfare council adviser Faruk Sadik, Abu Doha Joy, Minhazul Abedin and many others were present on the event.
“We are all Bangladeshis. Our constitution secures the freedom of religion. Bangladesh is a unique role model in the world of communal harmony. We don’t divide people on the basis of religion. Youth welfare council is a pro-people welfare organization,” Dr Rezaul Karim added.
He urged all to be united by the spirit of patriotism to restore lost democracy, independence and sovereignty.
“Allah has created us to stand with helpless people. This organization has been working for the sake of humanity since its establishment. We don’t create division by the name of religion,” he further added.
