Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central Mojlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka City North unit’s assistant secretary Nazim Uddin Mollah said, “ The intensity of coldness has increased in the capital but the government did not take any necessary step to reduce the miseries of cold people. As a pro-people welfare organization, Jamaat has been trying to stand with cold people.”
He urged the wealthy people of the country to come forward to assist the cold people of the country.
He today said these as the chief guest while distributing winter clothes among cold people at an auditorium in the capital. Rampura thana north of Jamaat Dhaka City North arranged the program. Thana secretary educationist H Rahman was the chair. Thana working committee member A H Patwary, Muhammad Islam, M Riad, and others were also present on the program.
“Jamaat has been working tirelessly to establish a welfare state based on justice. But our path is not easy. Our ancestors were martyred,” he added.
“The ruling party is violating human rights. They have divided the nation,” the Jamaat leader alleged.
He further warned the Awami League, power is not ever lasting. One day they will be held accountable to Allah Ta’ala.
He urged the government to follow the path of democracy avoiding dictatorship. Otherwise, they have to face public anger.
