Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s acting Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa said, “Violating the rights of votes and rice, the government has turned the country into an autocratic and mafia state. People should be played an important role to restore democracy and democratic spirit in the country.”
He urged all to build up a strong form of movement to oust this vote rigged and repressive government.
He today said these as the chief guest while speaking at an annual member meeting of Jamaat Dakshinkhan thana unit in the capital. Dakshinkhan thana unit of Jamaat Dhaka City North arranged the meeting. Jamaat Dhaka City North unit’s Mojlish-e-Shura member and thana Ameer S A Shanewaz presided over the meeting. Central Mojlish-e-Shura member Jamal Uddin was the special guest. Thana secretary Muhammad Mamun, thana working committee member S A Alam, Maulana Z Rahman, Ayub Ali, M Rahman and many others were present on the meeting.
“Awami League’s avarice to power has turned the country into a deep crisis. They have destroyed democracy and democratic institutions in the country. The country and the nation are passing through a critical moment,” the Jamaat leader alleged.
He also emphasized on studying The Holy Quran and Hadith.
He further called the countrymen to work together to establish democracy, human rights and Islamic values in the country.
