Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim accused that the government had not taken necessary steps to reduce the miseries of cold people though the intensity of coldness increased in the capital.
‘We try our level best to assist the cold people with our limited ability. We will continue our assistance for mass people in future In-Sha-Allah,’ he added.
City secretary urged the party leaders and activists to help the cold people.
He today said these as the chief guest while distributing winter clothes at Uttara area in the capital. Jamaat Uttara thana west of Dhaka City North arranged the event. Thana Ameer Abu Hasnain presided over the event. Thana nayeb-e-Ameer Abu Hossain, thana working committee member Shahidul Islam, eminent businessman Emarat Hossain, engineer Shariful Islam and others were present here.
“The state will solve all the problems of citizens for this they pay tax to state. But the citizens of Bangladesh are being deprived of all state facilities as a welfare state based on justice is not established. There is no alternative but to turn the country into an Islamic welfare state based on justice,” he further added.
He urged everyone to be united under the banner of Jamaat to turn the country into an Islamic welfare state based on justice.
“The government has spoiled the state apparatus to cling its illegal power. They have also destroyed the democracy and democratic institutions of the country. They have turned the country into a mafia state,” he accused the ruling government.
He called upon the voters to refrain from assisting government in casting votes. The Jamaat leader urged everyone to boycott the staged, managed and farcical election.
