Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s acting Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa alleged that the government had turned the Election Commission into Awami League’s party office.
He also urged everyone to obey the command of Allah (SW) in every sphere of life.
He today said these as the chief guest while distributing prizes among the winners of Sirat and general knowledge competition at an auditorium in the capital. Tejgaon thana north of Jamaat Dhaka City North arranged the competition. Thana Ameer Hafeez Ahasanullah presided over the ceremony. Jamaat central Mojlish-e-Shura member and Hatirjheel zone director Hemayet Hossain, Jamaat Dhaka City North media and publicity secretary Ataur Rahman Sarker, thana secretary Nasibbul Haque, thana working committee member Enamul Haque,Saiful Islam and others were also present on the occasion.
“The Prophet (SA) was sent to this world as a messenger of peace,” he added.
Allah (SW) said, “And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.”
“People are enjoying the benefits of science and technology across the globe but conflict has been increased as people do not obey the rules of Islam. If we want to establish peace around the world, we must follow the rules of revelation,” the Jamaat leader added.
He called upon all to be united to build a society by the spirit of revelation.
“Awami League government has destroyed democracy and democratic institutions in the country in a planned way to cling their illegal power,” he further alleged.
He urged the countrymen to refrain voters from assisting government in casting votes in upcoming farcical election.
Jamaat Dhaka City North unit’s acting Ameer also distributed winter clothes among the cold people in Tejgaong area of the capital.
