Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and acting Ameer of Dhaka City North unit Abdur Rahman Musa said, “The intensity of coldness had been increased across the country including Dhaka City last couple of days. As a result, poor people are suffering a lot. We have come here with our limited ability to reduce the needy people’s miseries.”
He urged the government, political parties, and wealthy people of the society to come forward to assist the marginalized people of the country.
Jamaat Dhaka City North acting Ameer on Wednesday said these as the chief guest while distributing winter clothes among the poor people at an auditorium in the capital. Jamaat Mohammad thana west of Dhaka Citty North arranged the program. Thana Ameer Dr Shafiur Rahman presided over the program. Jamaat central Mojlish-e-Shura member and assistant secretary of Dhaka City North Ziaul Hasan was the special guest. Thana Nayeb-e-Ameer Mahdi Hasan, secretary Masuduzzaman, thana working committee member Ruhul Amin, ward president Shahabuddin Mizan and others were present on the program.
“Rules of constitution are absent in the country. The government is violating human rights and rules of law to cling their illegal power,” Abdur Rahman Musa alleged.
“People are unable to exercise the freedom of expression. Awami League government has criminalized it. Hasina has created a climate of fear across the country,” he further alleged.
Jamaat Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer called upon all to take part the ongoing political movement.
He demanded the formation of election-time caretaker government and resignation of fascist Hasina for holding a free, fair, credible, inclusive and participatory election.
